LIMITED WARRANTY

All purchases (excluding sheet metal/body panels and electrical parts) from iDrive Auto Parts, Inc. come with a standard 6-month part-only warranty covering defective units only.
No labor coverage is included unless a labor warranty is purchased separately.

  • All parts must be installed within 14 days of the invoice date and in accordance with the installation procedures outlined below.
  • Warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt.
  • At iDrive Auto Parts' discretion, defective parts may be repaired, replaced, or refunded to the original purchaser, provided all warranty terms and procedures are followed.

A 30% restocking fee applies to all returned or exchanged parts.
Approved refunds will be issued by check (except for Credit Card purchases) within 10 business days.
Shipping and freight charges (including LTL, UPS, FedEx, and USPS) are non-refundable.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Parts installed on off-road vehicles or vehicles modified beyond factory specifications.
  2. Parts used in commercial, fleet, or marine applications.
  3. Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to: related parts, income loss, travel, rentals, towing, or diagnostic fees.
  4. Failures resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, environmental conditions, or vehicle-related issues.

GENERAL LIMITATIONS

  1. iDrive Auto Parts reserves the right to inspect the part to verify eligibility for warranty coverage.
  2. Any repair or removal of the part before inspection by iDrive Auto Parts or its authorized agent will void the warranty.
  3. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  4. Returned parts must be in the same condition as sold.
  5. Parts may include attached accessories (e.g., sensors, manifolds, injectors) which must be transferred or replaced as needed. These accessories are not covered under this warranty.
  6. Warranty claims approved for repair or replacement will be covered only once. After that, any additional warranty coverage will be limited to 60 days unless a new extended warranty is purchased (subject to iDrive Auto Parts' discretion).
  7. The warranty is void if:
    • Installed in a non-OEM application.
    • Failure results from towing without manufacturer towing rating.
    • Caused by non-covered components, poor installation, abuse, racing, neglect, or lack of maintenance.
    • Related to collisions, theft, vandalism, or Acts of God.
    • Mechanical parts (e.g., engines and transmissions) are not installed by an ASE-certified technician.

ENGINES

Warranty covers:

  • Internal lubricated parts: block, heads, valves, lifters, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, etc.
  • Does not cover external parts such as sensors, injectors, throttle bodies, gaskets, manifolds, coil packs, or any non-lubricated components.

Required installation procedures:

  • Replace: timing belt/chain, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, oil pan gasket, fluids, and oil filter.
  • Verify proper radiator flow; replace if necessary.
  • Use proper oil and filters; change at installation and every 3,000 miles thereafter.
  • Install new intake manifold gaskets.

Proof of service is required for any warranty claim.
Overheating or improper installation voids the warranty.

TRANSMISSIONS

Warranty covers:

  • Slippage, shifting failures, and bearing noise.
  • Does not cover gear damage due to tooth shearing or breakage in manual transmissions.

Required installation procedures:

  • Replace: front pump seal, output shaft seal, pan gasket, and filter.
  • Flush or replace transmission cooler and lines.
  • Adjust cables and linkages (if applicable).
  • Clear fault codes.
  • Follow OEM specifications for fluid levels and types and adhere to any technical service bulletins.

ASE-certified technician installation required for automatic transmissions with overdrive.
Improper installation will void the warranty.
Proof of service is required for any warranty claim.

LABOR WARRANTY (Optional – Sold Separately)

Labor warranty, when purchased, covers a one-time labor charge for the removal and replacement of the covered part.

  • The maximum labor payout is $2,500, depending on the amount of labor coverage purchased at the time of sale.
  • Labor warranty is sold at a rate of $100 for every $500 of labor coverage selected.

Standard Warranty Coverage: All parts sold by iDrive Auto Parts include a 6-month part-only warranty unless otherwise specified. The 6-month warranty period begins on the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects and malfunctioning parts only; labor costs are not covered.

Warranty Claims: If a part covered by our warranty fails to operate within the 6-month warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either:

  • Provide a functionally equivalent replacement part, or
  • Issue a refund for the original purchase price of the part.

Exclusions:

  • Deposits, special-order parts, and custom-cut items are non-refundable.
  • Engines, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, differentials, computers, and electrical components require:
    • A certified diagnosis
    • Proof of required maintenance and programming from a certified repair shop or dealership This documentation must be provided to initiate a warranty claim.

Return Process: To return an item, you must contact us within 6 months of receiving the part to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA number.

Shipping Information:

  • Original shipping costs and return shipping costs will not be refunded for parts ordered incorrectly or no longer needed.
